THE ROUTE

In October 2004, we set off from the UK on our Five Continent epic journey, travelling across Europe, Russia and Kazakhstan along the ancient Silk Road to China. Due to the Tibetan pass being closed we had to amend our route. We couldn't travel down through Tibet into Nepal and India due to political frailties but we travelled from the west of China, down to the south and into Laos, Thailand, Malaysia before we shipped from Singapore to Darwin in Australia. We then travelled to Sydney/Melbourne. We put our car in container to Argentina, where we are currently travelling to Chile back into Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. As Colombia is still considered dangerous to travel through, we decided to ship to Costa Rica in an attempt to drive north, but after a lot of bureaucracy we ran out of money and headed back to the UK, unfortunately ditching our attempt to drive north.
